Former Super Eagles’ attacker, Victor Moses wants to score more goals after banging his first for Fenerbache in Friday night’s 2-0 win over Goztepe San, AOIFootball.com reports.
The 28-year-old, who is yet to start a game for his new side, came off the bench to help Fenerbahce record back to back victories for the first time in four months.
He, however, posited afterward that the team showed great character and hopes they continue with this momentum and beat the drop to make a last-ditch push for European football next season.
“We showed a great character from the beginning to the end of the match. We had a really good display. Three points were the most important for us. In the last two matches, we made 2 in 2. We want to continue our way with this momentum. All we want is to continue by winning the matches.
“I’m very happy. I scored my first goal for my team. I hope I can make more goals. We will continue our work. My teammates are very good. Everyone works very well. Everyone is showing me great love, very good support. I can feel it when I’m in the field. I want to help my team and contribute. We showed a great character. Tonight we saw how happy everyone was,” Moses said.
Moses continues to be linked with a return to the Super Eagles but is now enjoying his football again after being confined to the bench by Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri since his arrival in the summer.
