Super Eagles’ defender, Kenneth Omeruo produced yet another impressive display to help Leganes stretch their unbeaten home form in their 3-0 win over Real Betis, AOIFootball.com reports.
The Chelsea loanee, who has already established himself as a key figure in the Spanish club, started his 15th league clash of the season, as Moroccan striker Youssef En-Nesyri became the first Leganes player to score a hat-trick in the LaLiga.
The home side took the lead after 22 minutes when En-Nesyri put them ahead before he made it 2-0 six minutes after the half-hour mark to give Leganes a comfortable 2-0 half time lead.
The Moroccan striker then completed his hat-trick six minutes after the hour mark to record his eighth league goal of the season and seal all three points for the impressive host.
Omeruo did play the entire match duration, had a game rating of 7.2, made 7 clearances, 1 interception and completed 100% of his tackles. He also won 3 duels and also completed 78% of his passes to record his 7th clean sheet of the campaign.
The win lifts Leganes to 11th on the table with 29 points from 22 games played so far.
