Nigerian defender, Kingsley Madu scored his first goal for new club KSV Roeselare as they saw off hosts Union Saint-Gillhouse 2-1 at the Roi Baudouin in Brussels, reports.
Having joined the club on loan on transfer deadline, the Rio 2016 Olympic bronze Medalist started his second game at left back and also had fellow Nigerian Saviour Godwin in the starting XI for the visitors.
After a goalless first half, the left-back broke the deadlock seven minutes after the restart when he perfectly placed a left-footed strike from the edged of the box past the goalkeeper to give his side a 1-0 lead.
Nicolas Antoine Rajsel then made it 2-0 eight minutes later before South African forward, Percy Tau scored what prove to be a consolation five minutes after the hour mark as the Nigerian duo reigned supreme on the night.
The win sees Roeselare remain on 5th position on the log 31 points as they continue to push for promotion place come the end of the season.
