Nigerian striker, Paul Onuachu scored a brace to help FC Midtjylland recover from a goal down to win 2-1 away at AGF on matchday 23 of the Danish Super League, AOIFootball.com reports.
The lanky forward has been in impressive form this season and was duly handed the starting role, partnering fellow Nigerian Rilwan Hassan as the visitors tried to close the gap at the top of the table.
The hosts struck first when Jakob Ankerson put them ahead two minutes after the hour mark but the lead lasted for just six minutes as Onuachu diverted a shot from Kian Hansen to equalise with both teams going into the break level.
Determined to get all maximum points, Onuachu got into the act again, this time finishing off a cross from Awer Mabil to make it 2-1 and his second of the night.
He was however denied a chance of a hat-trick when he received his marching orders 23 minutes from time for a second bookable offence but the visitors held on to claim all three points.
The Nigerian has now scored 14 league goals this season to put him joint third on the goals scorer’s chart.
