Nigerian forward, Anthony Nwakaeme scored another screamer for Trabzonspor as they crashed out of the Turkish Super Cup 3-1 away at Lig 1 side Umraniyespor, reports.

Having played out a goalless draw in the first leg at in Trabzonspor, the visitors lined up a strong starting XI which included star forwards Hugo Rodallega and Anthony Nwakaeme.

After a cagey opening half hour, the visitors took the lead when Nwakaeme received the ball from almost 35 yards and opted to strike from a distance as his low shot beat the goalkeeper to put Trabzonspor 1-0 up.

However, a second-half comeback from the hosts stunned the Super Lig side as goals from Leandro Barrios, Emircan Altintas and Atabey Cicek ensured they went through on a 3-1 aggregate.

Trabzonspor will now have to focus on the league howbeit on a slim chance but are in pole position to clinch a European ticket at end of the season.
