Nigerian defender Igwekali Darlington Emmanuel has signed a professional four-year contract with Ukrainian club Olympik Donetsk after completing a move from Turkish club Alanyaspor FC, reports.
The 18-year-old center-back put pen to paper after impressing with the Alanyaspor U-21 side where he made his mark before being scouted by the Ukrainian giants.
After playing through the youth ranks in Alanyaspor, Emmanuel made eight appearances for the U-21 side this season, starting seven of those games, winning all eight of those matches and keeping two clean sheets.
He will now continue his development in Ukraine where he is expected to feature for the reserve team and also try to break into the first team at Donetsk.
