Assistant Captain of Nigeria’s Olympic Team, Kelechi Nwakali has urged his teammates to rally together and play as a single unit to overturn a 2-0 deficit against stubborn Libya on Monday, reports.
The FC Porto B star stated that they have learnt from the first leg and will now ensure they overturn the result when they file out on Monday afternoon in Asaba.
“We lost the game in Tunis and that is gone for now. We now have to focus on the second leg on Monday and make sure that we bounce back and get the desired result that will seal qualification.
“For us now, it’s not all about the names in the team because we need to drop the individual football and skills and play as a team to ensure we get the victory we want. I believe if we play as a team then we can achieve the result we want,” Nwakali concluded.
