As part of preparations for the 2019 African Cup of Nations in Egypt, Nigeria’s opponent in Group B Guinea have lined up two top quality friendlies to enable them to get in top form before the tournament, reports.
According to the Guinea Football Federation, the Syli Nationale will face Benin on 11 June in the Moroccan city of Marrakech, where they will begin a training camp on 1 June.
The team will then depart for Egypt four days later and face the Nations Cup hosts Egypt in Alexandria on 16th of June before finally preparing for the tournament proper.
Having missed out of the last edition in 2017, the Paul Put- led team were drawn in Group B alongside side three-time champions Nigeria, debutants Madagascar and Burundi as they go in search of their first-ever continental crown.
The Syli National will begin their campaign against debutants Madagascar on June 22 before facing Nigeria four days later and then rounding up the group stage with a tie against Burundi on June 30.
