Nigeria’s Victor Osimhen continued his red-hot form in front of goal as he scored for the second consecutive league match for Sporting Charleroi ad they thrashed Beerschot Wilrijk 4-0, reports.
On the back of two successive playoffs win, the Zebra Boys were ready to make it three wins in five as they duly opened scoring deep into half time when Adama Niane converted from twelve yards.
The second half became more cagey for both sides as Charleroi turned their dominance into a second goal when the ever lively Osimhen raced clear after receiving a delightful pass from Adama Niane before bending the ball beyond the goalkeeper for his 14th goal of the campaign.
Ryota Morioka then made it 3-0 on the 80th minute before substitute Jeremy Perbet wrapped up the scoreline when he made it 4-0 five minutes from time.
The win lifts Charleroi to second on the Playoffs 2A table with nine points, two behind leaders St. Truidense which has 11 points after 5 round of matches.
