Super Eagles fast-rising sensation, Samuel Chukwueze has declared that he holds the ambition to play for some of the greatest clubs in the world amid interests from European giants, Liverpool, reports.
The 19-year-old, who is faced with the turmoil of choosing to either play at this month’s FIFA U-20 World Cup in Poland or with the Super Eagles in next month’s AFCON, stated that he remains flattered with the numerous links he has received since his breakthrough with Villarreal.
“My dream is to play for one of the best teams in the world. I’m quite overwhelmed with all the clubs that I have been linked to but I’m not being carried away.
“I just want to give my best each time I am on the field,” Chukwueze said.
He, however, revealed that going to Spain after the 2015 U-17 World Cup was the best decision he has taken yet as it gave him a platform to showcase his talent to the world.
With 8 goals and 4 assists in all competitions, the 19-year-old is one of Europe’s most sought after winger after a sensational first season with the Yellow Submarines.
