Super Eagles’ midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi believes next month’s Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt could be the perfect tournament for the team to correct the mistakes they made at the FIFA World Cup in Russia, reports.


The 21-year-old posited that the team have learnt from their Russia 2018 exploits and would work towards improving ahead of the nations cup next mont in Egypt.


“The World Cup is gone and we did not really go as far as we wanted but the Nations Cup is here and its another opportunity to actually do something great and correct the mistakes of the World Cup.


“For me as a player I’m really looking foreard to the tournament; we have a chance so we have to take it,” Ndidi concluded.


The midfielder has continued to wow many in the EPL since his arrival three winters ago and remains one of Europe’s best tacklers, a position he has held for two straight seasons.
