Super Falcons and Sporting Braga forward, Chinaza Uchendu is excited and fulfilled with her performance this season after winning the Portuguese 1a Divisão Women with her club, reports.


Speaking exclusively to, the former Rivers Angels striker said she is happy to have achieved her target.


“I feel super excited. My target was to make sure I make history with the club, considering the fact that they haven’t won anything in the last two seasons,” Uchendu enthused.


Reacting to what the achievement means to her in a World Cup year, Uchendu added:


“I am satisfied and this means so much for me because it is going to be another big and different challenge at the world cup with high expectations.


“I am just going to train my mind to stay focused and not get carried away by this achievement because I have a bigger task to face,” she concluded.

The 20-year-old joined the Portuguese 1a Divisão side for an undisclosed fee after signing a one-year deal.
