Super Eagles midfielder, John Ogochukwu Ogu produced two moments of pure class to inspire outgoing champions Hapoel Be’er Sheva as they edged past host Bbei Yehuda Tel Aviv 3-2 to keep alive their hopes of European football next season, reports.

Without a win in their last four fixtures, the visitors fell behind after 25 minutes when Shay Konstantini put Bnei Yehuda 1-0 up.

Ogu then got into the act with two sublime assists in the space of six minutes, first setting up Hatem Abd Elhamed with a back heel for 1-1 before he then drove forward to set up Ben Shar to outclass the visitors 2-1.

Maor Melikson then made it 3-1 on 71 minutes before Jan Dor scored from the spot to set up a nervy finish as Be’er Sheva claimed their first win in four games.

The win keeps Be’er Sheva in 4th place with 52 points one point behind third-placed Maccabi Netanya who occupy the final European qualification spot.
