Flying Eagles winger, Success Makanjuola has hailed the Nigerian Football Federation over what he described as near perfect preparations for the team ahead of the FIFA U-20 World Cup in Poland, AOIFootball.com reports.
The Water FC of Abuja dazzling winger, who spoke from the team’s training camp in Germany, also told AOIFootball.com that he was delighted to make the final list of 21.
“I’m very happy to be among the final players that will be representing the country in Poland and I think we have what it takes to do the country proud when the tournament kicks off later this month.
“The level of preparations has been exceptional because when I first came to the camp everything was well organized.
“In fact, the training pitches were lovely. We trained morning and evening just to make sure we go out there and bring back the cup to Nigeria and I promise we will bring the trophy home,” Makanjuola added.
The 18-year-old, however, stated categorically that he believes in his ability and will deliver the goods for the country at the world cup.
The Flying Eagles are drawn in Group D with Qatar, USA and Ukraine and will begin their quest for success against Qatar on May 24th.
