Ahead of next weekend’s opener against Qatar at the FIFA U-20 World Cup, Flying Eagles attacker, Emeka Chinonso has said he remains confident of a positive outing with the country as they hope to make history in Poland,

Speaking to before the team’s departure from Germany, the Brookhouse FC of England star expressed his delight to have been named in the final list of 21 and promised to give his best on the field of play.

“Sincerely, I’m very happy to be part of this group, it hasn’t been easy but I thank God for bringing me this far.

“I promise to represent my country very well which is to give my best on the pitch. I know I have the skill and talents to help the team achieve success,” the forward concluded.

The Flying Eagles will open their campaign on the 24th at the Miejski Stadium in Tychach against Qatar before also taking on USA and Ukraine for a place in the next round of the competition.
