Super Eagles’ Victor Osimhen continued his fantastic form in the Belgian League as he scored twice to help Sporting Charleroi reach the final of the Europa League playoffs following their 2-1 win away at KV Kortrijk, reports.

In a game that saw two Nigerians scoring all three goals, the hosts opened scoring when Imoh Ezekiel who had just come into the pitch for injured Philip Avanti profited from a lack of understanding at the Charleroi bench to steal the ball before firing home his fourth goal of the season to put the host 1-0 up after six minutes.

However, Osimhen equalized in emphatic fashion when he volleyed home a Massimo Bruno corner, much to the delight of the fans at the stadium as both teams when into the break level.

The Charleroi player of the season then completed the turnaround 11 minutes after the break when he cooly controlled a long pass from Gabriel Angella before his first touch took the ball away from the attacking defender to fire the ball into the back of the net for his 19th goal of the season for the Zebras.

Sporting Charleroi next faces Royal Antwerp on Sunday for who picks the final European qualification spot in Belgium.
