Former Super Eagles international, Tijani Babangida, has stated that Al-Nassr of Saudi Arabia forward, Ahmed Musa is Nigeria’s most dangerous player going into the Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt, reports.

The former Ajax winger told in an exclusive interaction that Ahmed Musa is the best attacker in the team currently.

“He’s the best attacker in the team now. He’s got that everlasting pace that is needed in an attacker and he always steps up his game in tournaments and this one won’t be any different.

“Football is all about taking your chances when it comes and Musa is a player that takes those chances on big occasions. He’s definitely the main threat in the team right now” Babangida said.

Tijani, who made his Africa Cup of Nations debut in the year 2000 in South Africa, also talked about the expectations from some other players in the team.

“Of course I’m expecting Moses Simon and Alex Iwobi to do really well upfront as well as Onyekwuru,” the former VV Venlo man added.

Babangida scored a total of 5 goals in 36 international caps and 76 club goals before he retired from professional football in 2004.
