Ahead of their second group game at the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt, Super Eagles midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi has declared that the team is ready to face Guinea on Wednesday, reports.

The Leicester City midfield marshal who was voted man of the match against Burundi, told from the team’s base in Alexandria, that they are very much prepared for Guinea whom he described as very dangerous opponents.

“Our first game was not really impressive to our standard but we are preparing well. We know what we faced against Burundi and we know the second game won’t be easy as well.

“They (Guinea) are a better side compared to Burundi and we should expect more pressure from them. We are 100% ready for the game and I believe also that we must start well against them to ensure victory,” Ndidi said.

The 22-year-old, however, called on Nigerians back home not to relent in their support for the team as they will continue to work hard and ensure they make the country proud in Egypt.
