SC Paderborn 07 defender Jamilu Collins has returned to full training in time for Nigeria’s Round of 16 clash against defending champions Cameroon on Saturday, can authoritatively confirm.

The left-back who picked up an injury on the eve of the Eagles’ opener against Burundi, was forced to miss all three group games with Torino left back deputizing in his absence.

His availability will, however, be a boost for Coach Gernot Rohr who has talked up the importance of having the left back for the clash following the news of injury to skipper Mikel Obi.

Similarly, right back Shehu Abdullahi who was forced off with an injury in the opener against Burundi continued to train alone in a bid to prove his fitness ahead of the clash on Saturday.

Abdullahi missed the games against Guinea and Madagascar but remains hopeful of a return should he prove his fitness on time ahead of the clash with the Indomitable Lions.
