Super Eagles Coach, Gernot Rohr believes the quarterfinal tie between the Bafana Bafana of South Africa would be a more difficult game for his lads, reports.

South Africa stunned hosts Egypt 1-0 on Saturday to setup a quarterfinal tie with Nigeria who also eliminated defending champions, Cameroon to progress to the quarterfinals.

Rohr, who is no stranger to the Southern Africans, however, predicts a tough game following a 2-0 loss to the Stuart Baxter-led boys during the AFCON qualifiers despite topping the group.

“They beat us in Uyo, so we know that is not easy. We know them very well and we played a good draw in Johannesburg for the qualification, even though we deserved to win because of the two goals of Musa that were canceled.

“We saw them play tonight (Saturday) against Egypt and they played so well so it will be very, very difficult. That’s why we have to work hard to prepare well for this very tough game against South Africa,” Rohr concluded.
