Nigeria international, Peter Olayinka opened his season account in style after scoring in Slavia Praha 3-0 away win over SK Dynamo České Budêjovivce, AOIFootball.com reports.
The 23-year-old lanky forward started only his second game of the season as the visitors went in search of their 5th league victory of the new campaign.
After a goalless first 45 minutes, the visitors took the lead upon second half resumption when midfielder Nicolae Stanciu scored a beauty of a goal from 35 yards to put Praha 1-0 up.
The goal opened up the match as Olayinka then doubled his side’s lead on the 76th minute before substitute Milan Škoda completed the thrashing with a well-taken goal six minutes from time to make it 3-0.
The win ensured the defending champions maintained their lead on the league table with 16 points.
