With the official unveiling of Ngozi Elechi as Technical Adviser of Warri Wolves coming up in a few days, the General Manager of the Delta State team, Moses Etu, has thrown his weight behind the young football gaffer to succeed at the club, reports.

Speaking in an exclusive chat with, the astute football administrator maintained that the management of Warri Wolves have full confidence that Elechi will be successful at the club, stating that he is one who is hungry for glory, and he pays attention to details.

“He is one that wants to make a name after winning the league with Lobi Stars and the FA Cup with Plateau United in his playing days.

“I have the belief that he will succeed because he listens,” Etu said.

Etu, under whose watch Warri Wolves gained promotion to the top flight after five years in the lower division, maintained that a lot of applications came in but the choice of Elechi was based purely on his ability to work with young players, and his team plays good football, coupled with the fact that he hails from the Niger Delta and understands the terrain.

“We went for Elechi because he has been working with young players and his team plays good football, which we want.

“He is from Niger Delta and understands the terrain. His humility is virtue and from our discussion, he is ready to work with us as a team,” Etu concluded.
