Former Super Eagles forward, Victor Moses began his first full season in the Turkish League in style after scoring Fenerbahce’s first goal of the season as they trashed Gazisehir FK 5-0 to move top of the log, reports.

The 28-year-old Chelsea loanee took just 6 minutes to open the scoring for Fenerbahce as he cooly slotted from 12 yards to give them a 1-0 lead.

He was then presented with another opportunity to double their lead from the spot but saw his effort saved by the goalkeeper before Vedat Muriqi and Emre Belozoglu struck to put the hosts 3-0 up going into the half time break.

The Nigerian then set up Nabil Dirar for 4-0 before being replaced by Fredi Erenay with the substitutes then sealing off the victory as he scored two minutes from time to garner all three points.

“What a win. Unbelievable performance from the boys. On a personal level, great feeling to be on the scoresheet again too,” Moses posted after the match.
