Following his superb performance and goal for the Flying Eagles against host Morocco at the ongoing African Games, forward Emeka Chinonso says he is charged and ready to do more, reports.

Chinonso came off the bench in Friday’s encounter to score the equalising goal that confirmed the team’s qualification for the semifinals and the Brook House FC of England player said he is poised to score more goals for the team.

“It felt so good scoring and I must say thank you to my teammates because without them I would not have been able to score. You know football is a team sport. I think this goal will spur me to work harder and score more goals for the team,” Chinonso said.

With his goal, Chinonso has now shown he is ready to fight for the starting shirt in the semifinals which is first of the two remaining games for the team.

The Flying Eagles will play the winner in Group B next Tuesday in the semifinal.
