Super Eagles winger, Moses Simon continued his bright start to life in the French Ligue 1 as he helped FC Nantes claim their first home win of the season following their 1-0 win over Montpellier, reports.

Having come off the bench to score on his debut for the club last weekend away at Amiens, the 24-year-old started his first game for the hosts as they went in search of their first home win of the campaign.

Both teams however failed to produce any moment of spark in the first 45 minutes as they went into the break goalless.

Nantes, however, broke their visitors’ resistance six minutes from time when the ever-lively Simon wiggled his way down the flanks before setting up French midfielder Abdoulaye Toure who beat one marker before firing past the goalkeeper to seal all three points.

Moses, who was on for the entire match duration, finished the game with a rating of 7.5, completing 79% of his passes, making 5 key passes and also blocking one goal-bound effort.
