Former Flying Eagles skipper, Ramon Azeez came off the bench to help newcomers Granada claim their first league win of the season following a 3-0 thumping of Espanyol, AOIFootball.com reports.
The former CD Lugo midfielder had to do with a place on the bench as both teams were hoping to put an end to their abysmal start to the season.
But it was the visitors who shot into an early lead when an Antonio Puertas strike made it 1-0 on the 13th minute before Azeez was introduced to beef up the midfield on the 56th minute, taking the place of Fede Vico.
Fellow substitute Carlos Fernandez Luna then made it 2-0 eight minutes after the hour mark before Azeez ensured the points were safe as he lashed on to a Darwin Machis cross to fire home the third for Granada.
The 26-year-old finished the game with a rating of 7.1, completing 83% of his passes, whilst also making 2 interceptions and one clearance.
