The camp of the Super Eagles of Nigeria officially opened on Saturday for the high profile international friendly against the Blue and Yellow of Ukraine, with 18 players present as at dinner time, reports. 

Grouping for the first time since their AFCON 2019 bronze medal feat, the bulk of the invited players showed their readiness to fight for shirts as core of them arrived on time for Sunday’s first training session. 

Leading the list of early arrivals were England based Alex Iwobi, Leon Balogun and Oghenekaro Etebo, whilst France based quartet of Victor Osimhen, Samuel Kalu, Moses Simon and new invitee Josh Maja were also part of the 18-man team. 

Expected among the 22 invited players for the clash are England based duo of Kelechi Iheanacho and Semi Ajayi with Ola Aina And Chidozie Awaziem completing the list of expected players for the match. 

Having fully settled down at the team’s base in Dnipro, the squad is expected to take to the field later on Sunday as they preparation for the clash on Tuesday evening.

Goalkeepers: Ikechukwu Ezenwa, Francis Uzoho, Maduka Okoye

Defenders: William Troost-Ekong, Leon Balogun, Jamilu Collins, Bryan Idowu. 

Midfielders: Oghenekaro Etebo, Joe Aribo, Alex Iwobi, Anderson Esiti 

Attackers: Paul Onuachu, Victor Osimhen, Samuel Kalu, Samuel Chukwueze, Emmanuel Dennis, Josh Maja, Paul Onuachu.
