It, however, took the Nigerian just 11 minutes to give the Vitória Guimarães fans what to expect in the long run as he set up Portuguese forward Andre Pereira who made no mistake to give his side a 1-0 lead.

French midfielder and son of Real Madrid legend Enzo Zidane then equalized for the visitors seven minutes later before Edmond Tapsoba put them ahead five minutes to half time as they went into the break 2-1.

Portuguese midfielder Rochina then made it 3-1 on 69 minutes before further strikes from Pepe and Alexandra Guedes ensured the host will ho into Thursday Europa league clash away at Standard Liege with plenty confidence.

Agu who was on for the entire match duration impressed with a game rating of 7.4, winning 13 of his duels contested, making 3 interceptions and clearances each and also completed 100% of his tackles attempted.
