Super Eagles goalkeeper Ikechukwu Ezenwa has expressed his readiness to help the team pick the needed ticket at next year’s CHAN tournament in Cameroon, AOIFootball.com reports.
The Heartland FC shot-stopper, who was one of the 20 invited players by Head Coach Imama Amapakabo for this weekend’s tie away at Togo, further praised the handlers for the choice of invited players whilst stating that they have all it takes to ensure victory for the country.
“It’s always a thing of joy to represent my fatherland and by God’s grace, I will always do the needful for us to qualify.
“We have all it takes to overcome them though it’s not going to be an easy game on Sunday with the calibre of coaches and players we have I’m confident we can scale through,” Ezenwa said.
The winner over both legs will pick one of three tickets to represent the WAFU Zone B region in the main tournament next year.
