Super Eagles striker, Paul Onuachu continued his fine start to life in the Belgium top flight as he scored his second goal of the season to help KRC Genk to a convincing 3-1 win over KV Oostende, reports.

Having suffered an embarrassing 6-2 loss during the week in the Champions League, the Nigerian was restored to the starting XI as the club hoped to close the gap on early leaders Standard Liege.

Genk did take the lead in some bizarre fashion after just sixteen minutes when Venezuelan midfielder Ronald Vargas shockingly put through his own goal following a corner kick from the host.

Idrissa Sylla then leveled scores for the visitors two minutes after the half-hour mark before Onuachu restored the lead just before half time when he lashed home a teasing cross from Joakim Maehle.

The Eagles forward was then replaced in the 74th for Bryan Heynen before Sander Berge sealed off the win on the dot of 90 minutes to complete to hand the hosts their fourth league win of the campaign.
