Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr will take the game against Brazil seriously and does not intend to lose to the Copa America champions, according to former Super Eagles striker, Victor Agali.

Agali, who is a close associate of the Franco-German and works with him as Chief Scout of the team, revealed to that his banter with the coach shows he will field a strong side against the Samba Boys.

“You know the coach is happy with the performance of the boys against Ukraine and I’m sure from my conversations with him, he wants them to continue in such fashion even against Brazil.

“I’m sure he will field a very strong side and will not want to lose to Brazil,” Agali said.

Already, Brazil Coach Tite has released a list of high profile players for the game led by Paris Saint-Germain forward Neymar, and Bayern Munich midfield maestro, Phillipe Coutinho, amongst others for the October 13 tie.

Nigeria has met Brazil only once and also in a friendly played at the Abuja National Stadium in 2003, with the Eagles falling 3-0 to the Ronaldinho inspired Brazilian side.
