Nigerian striker, David Okereke continued his bright start to life in Belgium as he scored twice to help Club Brugge reach the Round of 16 of the Beker van Belgie following a 3-0 win over Francs Borians, reports.

The 22-year-old led the line alongside new signing Mbaye Diagne but the visitors had to wait till the 71st minute to open the scoring when South Africa’s Percy Tau showed great composure to put his side 1-0 up.

Okereke then made it 2-0 ten minutes later when he beat the offside trap to net his 5th goal of the campaign before he then sealed the win five minutes later to complete a resounding 3-0 win for Club Brugge.

Club Brugge will now turn their attention to this weekend’s league game away at KV Mechelen as they hope to stretch their unbeaten run to 13 games having not suffered any loss in all competitions this season.
