Super Eagles forward Victor Osimhen continued his 100% home scoring record for French side Lille as he scored once and assisted another to lift them to a comprehensive 2-0 win over Strasbourg, reports.

Having won all three of their previous home matches head coach Christophe Galtier handed the 20-year-old his 6th league start of the campaign as they went in search of their 4th league win in seven outings.

The hosts were however frustrated in their attempt to take the lead with Strasbourg having their goalkeeper for keeping them at bay as he twice denied the Nigerian from given his side the lead.

Osimhen, however, made amends for his earlier miss as he benefited from a defensive mixup to put Lille ahead on 43 minutes thus scoring his 6th league goal of the campaign.

The 20-year-old then turned provider for strike partner Loic Remy, four minutes after the hour mark as the host moved up to second on the table with 13 points from their opening 7 league matches.

The former Wolfsburg forward was deservedly named the man of the match for the second consecutive match, finishing with a game rating of 8.2, completing 100% of his passes, making 2 key passes and also winning four duels in the process.
