Super Eagles Head Coach Gernot Rohr will have to do without inspirational defender Kenneth Omeruo, with Tyrone Ebuehi taking his place, reports.

The CD Leganes defender, who also missed the Eagles friendly against Ukraine last month, has now been replaced by Benfica right-back Tyronne Ebuehi for the October 13 clash in Singapore.

The 23-year-old who last featured for Nigeria at the 2018 World Cup, makes a return to the team after also opting out of the Ukraine friendly due to injury.

Omeruo’s absence will come as a big blow for both Nigeria and Leganes with Rohr likely to stick to the center-back pairing of William Troost-Ekong and Semi Ajayi following their impressive outing against Ukraine.

The Eagles manager will, however, wait till the very last minute for midfielder Joe Aribo who also remains a doubt following a head injury he suffered a fortnight ago for his club, Rangers.
