Super Eagles winger, Moses Simon was the toast of the French League Cup round of 32 after scoring thrice and also setting up another to help Ligue 1 side Nantes to a humiliating 8-0 win over Paris FC to seal their progression into the next round, reports.

The hosts went into the encounter as clear favorites and duly displayed their superiority when Moses put them ahead on 22 minutes after regaining his composure to fire home to put Nantes 1-0 up.

Thody Elie Youan then made it 2-0 on eight minutes later before Moses grabbed his second of the night on the half hour mark, this time tapping home from close range following an impressive work down the flank from Elie Youn.

The on-loan Levante forward again set up Ludovic Blas for 4-0 before completing his hat-trick just before half time to put Nantes 5-0 up.

They were however not done, as Imran Louza made it 6-0 two minutes after the break with the visitors missing a penalty afterwards as further goals from Ludovic Blas and substitute Mehdi Abeid sealed an emphatic 8-0 win.

The Eagles winger was rightly named the man of the match with a game rating of 9.4, featuring for just 65 minutes, completing 81% of his passes and scoring three times from 4 shots fired.
