Nigerian international, Michael Babatunde continued his impressive start to the 2019/2020 season in Morocco as he came off the bench for the second consecutive game to score in Wydad Athletic’s 4-0 win over Ittihad Tanger, reports.

Despite opening his season account last weekend at home to CA Youssoufia, the 26-year-old was again named on the bench as the hosts raced to a two-goal lead courtesy of strikes from Ayoub El Kaabi and Zouhair El Moutaraji.

Babatunde was then introduced for Amin Tighazoui on the hour mark before striker El Kaabi completed his brace six minutes later to put the host 3-0.

The Nigerian then got into the act when he tapped home for 4-0 on the 71st minute to help them to their 3rd win of the season as they moved up to 2nd on the log with 10 points from four games played so far.
