Enugu Rangers Int’l FC’s attacking wizard, Ibrahim Olawoyin has hailed his teammates resilience against ASC Kara in the second leg of the CAF Confederations Cup group stage playoffs last weekend in Enugu, AOIFootball.com reports.
Speaking to AOIFootball.com, the left footed attacking sensation, praised his teammates for putting up a good fight against the Togolese, adding that their determination actually saw them through.
“I commend my teammates for their efforts in the game against ASC Kara. The determination everyone displayed was exceptional,” said the CHAN Eagles invitee.
“Everyone gave a good account of themselves, and that is the essence of team work,” he added.
ASC Kara of Togo were on the verge of creating an upset for the fourth time against Nigerian teams in two months, recalling that the Hawks of Togo actually defeated Nigeria’s CHAN Eagles twice in quick succession in the CHAN qualifiers and the WAFU regional tournament.
