Former NPFL goal king, Anthony Okpotu continued his fine start to the Tunisian Ligue 1 as he scored for the third consecutive match to propel visitors US Monastir to an impressive 3-1 win away at US Tataouine, reports.

The former Lobi Stars forward led the line for the table toppers and needed just four minutes to put his side ahead at the Stade Nejib Khattab, much to the admiration of the visiting fans.

The hosts, however, equalized three minutes after the half-hour mark before Okpotu put his side 2-1 up later.

Ali Amir then made it 3-1 on 79 minutes as the visitors remained unbeaten after 9 games, stretching their lead at the top of the table with 21 points from a possible 27.
