Super Eagles left-back, Jamilu Collins produced one of his finest outings in the Bundesliga to inspire Paderborn to their second league win of the campaign, following their 1-0 win over Werder Bremen, reports.


Having just picked up one solitary win from their opening 13 games, the bottom-placed side traveled to Weser-Stadion hoping to end their five-game winless run with Jamilu Collins leading the defensive line.


The first half, however, failed to produce any goal with Paderborn holding plenty of possessions with Collins, a major threat for the visitors going forward.


Both managers then turned to the bench in the second period but the defense lines stood firm as both teams looked destined for a share of the points.


Substitute Sven Michel however shocked the entire stadium when he scored on the 89th minute to with the Video Assistant Referee also backing the goal as they claimed a 1-0 win to move up to 19th position.


The impressive Collins was then awarded man of the match after a fantastic performance which saw him finish with a game rating of 8.2, making 4 clearances and Interceptions each, making 5 key tackles and also won a game-high 15 duels.

He was also fouled 5 times in the clash as he completed 70% of his passes.
