Nigerian international, Olanrewaju Kayode continued his fine form in front of goal as he scored his second brace in the space of six days to propel Gaziantep FK to an entertaining 4-3 win away at Kasimpasa, reports.

Having been named in last week’s team of the week in Turkey, the on-loan Shakhter Donetsk forward led the line for the visitors for the 12th time as they went in search of their 3rd consecutive league win.

It took the Nigerian no time to register his intent in the game as he opened the scoring in the 5th minute to put his side 1-0 up before the hosts equalized 5 minutes later via the boots of Veysel Sari.

Kayode then set up Kenan Özer for 2-1 on 21 minute before former Chelsea defender Papy Djilobodji put the Visitors clear when he headed home to make it 3-1 on 33 minutes.

Kayode then got his second of the night and 7th overall just before half time when he scored from 12 yards to make it 4-1 going into half time.

Down but not out the host came into the second half with clear intent as they half the deficit on 57 minutes via the boots of Ricardo Quaresma before the same player then missed the chance to make it 4-3 when his penalty was saved on 75 minute.

Mame Thiam then scored 10 minutes from time to make it 4-3 but Kayode and his side held on to clinch their 6th win of the campaign and move up to 10th on the log standings.

The former Manchester City forward deservedly worked home with the man of the match award after an impressive rating of 8.7 as he also missed the chance to get a hat-trick when he was denied by the wood work.
