Former Super Eagles, midfielder John Ogu has completed a move to the Saudi Arabian Pro League with newly promoted Al Adalah FC till the end of the season, reports.

The former Hapoel Be’er Sheva midfielderr, who became a free agent last summer after quitting Be’er Sheva, endured a difficult six months as he was surprisingly clubless despite helping Nigeria to a bronze medal at the 2019 AFCON.

Having impressed the club’s hierarchy in his first few training sessions, the midfielder was given an initial six months contract with a further option to extend his stay in the Arab nation beyond the 2019/2020 season.

The 31-year-old’s immediate task will be to lift the league strugglers off the foot of the table as they sit 15th in the 16 team table with just 2 wins from their opening 14.

The Nigerian could make his debut in what would be a reunion with Eagles captain, Ahmed Musa next weekend when Al Adlah hosts Al-Nassr in the quarterfinals of the King’s Cup.
