Super Eagles winger, Moses Simon continued his dazzling performance on the flanks for French club Nantes as he grabbed his 5th assist of the campaign to inspire them to a 2-0 away win at Saint-Etienne, reports.

Hoping to make the most of Lille’s 1-0 loss to Dijon, the pacey Nigerian led the line for the hosts who were hoping to consolidate on last weekend’s cup win to move into Europa League automatic qualifying spot.

After a cagey opening 20 minutes, the visitors broke the deadlock in stunning fashion when midfielder Mehdi Abeid riffled home a powerful shot from the edge of the box to put Nantes 1-0 up.

The impressive Moses then set up Ludovic Blas three minutes after the break to make it 2-0 as the visitors claimed their 10th win of the season and a 7-point gap between their hosts who dropped to 15th on the table.

The assist now means Moses has been directly involved in 12 goals (5 goals, 7 assists) since his loan switch from Spanish side Levante.
