It was a good night for Eagles duo of Kelechi Iheanacho and Wilfred Ndidi after they both helped European chasers Leicester City return to winning ways as they thrashed West Ham United 4-1 to strengthen their hold on the 3rd position, reports.

Having missed their last two games, midfielder Wilfred Ndidi was named among the substitutes with national teammate Kelechi Iheanacho.

Both players did, however, make an early entry into the match with Ndidi coming on for the injured Nampalys Mendy on 34 minutes before Iheanacho also came on for league top scorer Jamie Vardy who also picked up a knock.

Defender Ricardo Pereira, however, made life easy for the host as he scored deep into first-half added time to make it 2-0 before the visitors reduced the deficit 5 minutes after the break when substitute Ndidi brought down Sebastien Haller in the box with Mark Noble stepping up to convert for 2-1.

Ayoze Perez then restored the Foxes’ two goals lead with a penalty on 81 minutes, before he then sealed the victory with his second of the game two minutes from time after he was set up by the impressive Iheanacho.
