Super Eagles utility defender Shehu Abdullahi has hailed his side hard-fought 1-0 win away at fellow promotion chasers Akhisarspor despite playing the closing stages of the game with a man down, reports.

The 26-year-old continued his midfield role as he lined up for the 18th game having only failed to start one of his side league games all season.

Both teams, however, failed to get the breakthrough in the first half with the center referee made to do plenty talking with his cards as he booked both teams twice each.

The visitors then broke the deadlock three minutes before the hour mark when Yevhen Seleznyov fired home a Serder Ozkan assist to make it 1-0 with Bursaspor holding on to claim all 3 points.

”Massive win at Akhisar Belediyespor, we move to the second position. We keep fighting for Bursa badge,” Shehu posted.
