Super Eagles on form striker, Kelechi Iheanacho scored for the 4th successive game in Leicester City’s 1-2 loss away at Aston Villa, reports.

Needing an outright win to reach their first domestic Cup final in 20 years following a 1-1 first-leg draw, the Foxes were boosted by the return of midfielder Wilfred Ndidi to the starting XI whilst Iheanacho was backed to continue his scoring spree against Villa when he led the line.

Their quest was however made difficult with just 12 minutes on the clock when the impressive Jack Grealish set up Matt Targett with the defender making no mistake to put Villa 1-0 up.

Iheanacho then drew his side level 18 minutes from time when he arrived well from the back post to turn home Harvey Barnes cross fo 1-1 to net his 4th of the competition and 8th of the season.

But just when the visitors thought they had done enough to force the game into penalties, Egyptian striker Trezeguet popped up with the winner deep into stoppage time after he was set up by Ahmed El-Mohamady.

Iheanacho and Ndidi did, however, complete the entire 90 minutes and will now focus their attention to this weekend’s big clash at home to Chelsea as they hope to open up a massive gap in their quest for top-three finish.
