Super Eagles midfielder Joe Aribo has hailed his side impressive performance in their 4-1 Scottish Cup win over Hamilton Academy after he grabbed one of the goals to lead them into the quarterfinals, reports.

The 23-year-old continued his advance role up front for Steven Gerrard side with the visitors hoping to condemn their host to their 4th loss in 5 games.

Scott Arfield put Rangers ahead on 25 minutes after scoring from his initial penalty miss before the host leveled matters 7 minutes before the break via the boots of Lewis Smith with both teams going into halftime level.

Aribo then restored his side lead on 67 minutes after tucking home from a Ryan Kent cross with further goals from Alfredo Morelos and Scott Arfield sealed a 4-1 win.

“In the hat for the next round, solid team display this afternoon! Always a good feeling to score. Thanks to all the traveling supporters,” Aribo posted afterward.
