Super Eagles right-back, Shehu Abdullahi was in a happy mood when he scored in Bursaspor’s 4-2 win away at Osmanlispor to keep their hope of sealing an automatic promotion alive, reports.

Mostly used as a utility player, the former Kano Pillars defender started on the right side of his side attack as he spearheaded an attacking trio with Yevhen Seleznoc leading the line for the visitors.

Abdou Razack Traore put Bursaspor ahead after 6 minute but the host hit back almost immediately via the boots of Merten Caner Ozturk to make it 1-1 with Atakan Ridvan firing home before half time to give Osmanlispor the lead going into the break.

Ozer Hurmaci, however, equalized for Bursaspor just on the hour mark before strikes from Recep Aydin on 75 and Abdullahi Shehu deep into additional time sealed a 4-2 win.

“Amazing win at Osmanlispor FK, we fought and conquered. I’m excited to score my second goal of the season. We keep working!! Big appreciation to Bursa fans,” Shehu posted afterward.

The win sees Bursaspor move up to second with 36 points from 21 matches, six points behind leaders Hatayspor.
