Onyekuru celebrates after scoring 3rd goal against Fenerbahce at the Sukru Saracoglu Stadium

Super Eagles winger, Henry Onyekuru scored his first goal since his return to Turkish club Galatasaray as they stretched their winning run in the league to 6 games after claiming a comprehensive 3-1 win away at rivals Fenerbahce, reports.

Earning just his 3rd league start since his winter switch, the 22-year-old started on his favorite left-hand side of the flanks with the visitors hoping to move level on points with 1st place Trabzonspor.

They, however, fell behind after 20 minutes when Max Kruse converted from 12 yards to give Fenerbahce the lead before Ryan Donk equalized just before half time as both teams went into the half level at 1-1.

Onyekuru was then involved in the second goal 10 minutes from time when he was hacked down in the penalty box with Radamel Falcao converting the resulting spot-kick to put Galatasaray 2-1 ip and complete the comeback.

The Nigerian then added more sweetness to the victory as he rounded off goalkeeper Altay Bayindir deep into additional time as the visitors claimed their first win at Fenerbahce since 1999.
