It was a good outing for two Nigerian players as the Swedish season officially began with the Svenska Cup, with fast-rising striker Attah Kadiri shining for Östersunds as they downed Eskilsminne IF 5-0, reports.

Jordan Attah Kadiri: The former Nasarawa United striker continued his fine form from pre-season where he scored 4 goals in 5 games as he scored one and assisted another to help his side to their first competitive win of the campaign.

With his side already 2-0 up from the first half, the new number 10 made it 3-0 with his 8th goal for the club since his arrival last August before he then set up Felix Hörberg to make it 5-0 on 83 minutes.

Nsima Peter: The veteran striker continued to show why age his just a number as he scored twice for Falkenbergs as they defeated Tvååkers IF 3-1 to take top spot in group 5.

The 31-year-old scored on either side of the half with former Enugu Rangers star, John Chibuike also coming on for the visitors.
