Super Eagles defender, Jamilu Collins returned to action for relegation-threatened Paderborn as they suffered their 16th loss of the campaign whilst it was a sweet victory for right-back Kingsley Ehizibue who shined in his side’s huge win against Schalke, reports.

Jamilu Collins: The Eagles left-back made a return to the starting XI after seating out last week 3-2 loss against Bayern Munich through injury but could do little to prevent Paderborn from going down 2-0 away at Mainz 05 who left out Taiwo Awonyi from the matchday squad.

Collins who has been the star player for the Bundesliga newcomers this season, once again showed his class despite the loss as he was rated his team’s best player at the Opel Arena in Mainz.

The Nigerian finished the game with a rating of 7.5, making 8 key tackles, 5 interceptions, 4 clearances. He also completed 80% of his passes, making 2 key passes and completed 100% of his take ons.

Kingsley Ehizibue: The former Netherlands U-21 youth player continued to raise his stock in the German Bundesliga as he produced yet another fine display in the colours of FC Koln who recorded back to back victories for the first time since December following their 3-0 win over Schalke 04.

Two goals in the first half from Sebastian Bornauw and Jhon Cordoba put the host in the driving seat before an own goal in the second period from Alexander Nubel sealed a comfortable win for Koln who now move up to 10th on the log standings.

The 24-year-old finished the game with a rating of 7.2, making 3 key tackles and Interceptions, making 2 clearances and also completed 66% of his take ons.
